Diagnostics

Could an illness or injury be plaguing your pet?

When humans get sick or suffer an injury, they visit the doctor, explain their symptoms and receive the appropriate care. With pets, it’s not always this straightforward. Because animals can’t speak, they aren’t able to tell us when something is bothering them.

What’s more, many pets are able to hide the signs of illness, allowing it to develop and worsen undetected.

Veterinary diagnostics allow us to identify and treat underlying health problems in a timely manner. Faster diagnosis of illness or injury can vastly improve the chances of a positive outcome.

Laboratory

The on-site diagnostic laboratory at Murrieta Family Pet Hospital makes it fast and efficient to run a wide variety of tests. In many cases, we can have the answers we need in just minutes. This means we can have a treatment plan in place before you and your pet even leave the exam room.

Imaging

When a physical exam and lab work aren’t sufficient to reach a diagnosis, we rely on advanced imaging technology, including x-rays and ultrasound. These tools allow us to evaluate the bones and internal organs, identifying injuries, diagnosing illness and determining its severity.

Digital images can be analyzed by our doctors in real-time or shared electronically with specialists if necessary.

If your pet has been acting a bit under the weather lately, don’t take chances. Give Murrieta Family Pet Hospital a call right away. We’ll get to the bottom of the problem and get your best friend back on the path to good health again.

Dr. Telles and her staff genuinely care about their patients. I love that they are not intimidated by my German Shepherd (Maggie) and they're very understanding when my dog gets aggressive out of fear of vaccinations or blood draws. I'm always impressed watching the team hard at work whenever my dog and I are there for a visit.
