Meet Our Veterinarians

Dr. Christopher Post is our clinic owner and veterinarian. He grew up in southern California in Fontana. Becoming a veterinarian was always his dream, inspired by his own childhood dogs, Maggie and Sandy, and numerous trips to San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park. After graduating from University of California, Davis in 2008, he worked at the California National Primate Research Center as an animal technician for four years. He then went to University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine graduating in 2017 with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and business certificate. He worked as an associate veterinarian in a small animal clinic in San Bernardino for 6 years before coming to Murrieta Family Pet Hospital. Dr. Post's professional interests include soft tissue surgery, preventative medicine, and rescue/shelter medicine. 

Dr. Post is married to his wife, Lori, who is also a veterinarian. He has two daughters, Charlotte and Amanda, two dogs, Mickey (Chiweenie) and River (Sheltie), and two cats, T'Challa and Brighteyes. Dr. Post enjoys playing board games with his family, reading, science fiction, and camping/hiking.
